Ryron Gracie And Rener Declared Second Ever Black Belt Exchange
Rener Gracie and Ryron Gracie recently announced that they will conduct the second Black Belt Exchange on October 22, 2023. This 4-hour event is entirely free and exclusively open to BJJ black belts, as the two founders of Gracie University want to expand an idea they developed last year. The fundamental purpose is that the event will gather numerous black belts and provide them with a platform to exchange thoughts about the sport. As Rener and Ryron are arranging the event, it will occur at the Gracie University Headquarters in Torrance, California.
Ryron Gracie And Rener Offers One Month Time For Event 2023 Signup
In 2022, Rener and Ryron Gracie extended a public invitation to all black belts interested in attending a meeting to share ideas and overall strategies related to the sport. Despite the short notice given last time, they successfully drew in 135 black belts with just a 4-day notice. The positive feedback from the event must have been encouraging. Now, they’ve chosen to host it again this year, providing a whole month for interested parties to sign up.
2nd Ever Black Belt Exchange Event Expectation
The expectation is that the number of black belts attending will more than double compared to the previous event, promising an engaging afternoon of interaction among seasoned practitioners. In addition, the duo has planned an optional dinner post-event, allowing attendees to extend their networking and relaxation time. The sport has evolved significantly from the days of intense gym rivalries, and any initiative to collaborate for the sport’s overall improvement is always beneficial.
