McGregor is a renowned name in BJJ. He is the featherweight champion and the Former lightweight champion. Recently, he received his Black Belt from his coach, John Raymond Kavanagh. His millions of fans across the globe were waiting anxiously for his Black Belt Promotion. Since he was unable to compete in BJJ for a long time, followers were waiting for his comeback. 

McGregor BJJ Journey

He is the most regarded BJJ player due to his impeccable skills and striking abilities. McGregor has been showing his unstoppable moves and knocking out the opponent for more than two decades. His dedication, commitment, and equally majestic presence have earned him the most wanted BJJ rank, the black belt. 

Although McGregor hardly relied on the BJJ skills, he was more interested in mixed martial arts. He continued training in MMA, but his grappling skills honed his overall ability to submit to the opponent. McGregor Shared His Achievement On Instagram 

McGregor shared this news with the fans through his official Instagram page. He mentioned he had struggled for over 20 years to this day. Now, he has achieved his goal, thanking his mentor, colleagues, and all others in his jiu-jitsu journey.

“Received my black belt tonight from my coach, friend, and mentor, John Kavanagh of SBG Ireland! 20 years of hard work! Thank you John for everything over the years, and to all of my teammates throughout this incredible jiu-jitsu journey! Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart! A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, wow! Praise be to God and then Helio. I’ll be in the Gi in it tomorrow Helio, I promise, and I cannot wait! What a buzz.”

He also thanked his head coach, John Kavanagh,
