All the Mark Zuckerberg fans are excited to see the advancement of Meta CEO in BJJ journey. He has been practicing the BJJ for the past few months. After getting the brown belt from BJJ, he is promoted to BJJ Blue belt. 

Zuckerberg has been participating in both Gi and No-Gi competitions, securing gold medals. It’s not surprising that Zuckerberg has moved up to a blue belt. Indeed, he’s on a fast track to earning his black belt. This rapid progress shows that Zuckerberg will leave his carbon footprints in the sand of BJJ history.

Mark Zuckerberg started his BJJ training under the supervision of Dave Camarillo. Dave Camarillo is the founder of Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu.

Throughout his training, Zuckerberg has acquired numerous skills from Camarillo. Zukerberg started his BJJ journey under the supervision of BJJ world champion Mikey Musumeci.

 In the start of 2023, he competed in the BJJ tournament held in Silicon Valley. He won the silver medal in that competition.  Now the day he got his BJJ blue belt, his coach is promoted to 5th degree black belt. Mark Zuckerberg posted on social media for congratulating him over his tremendous success.

Zuckerberg began training in jiu jitsu and chose to compete after developing a passion for the sport. On Joe Rogan’s podcast, Zuckerberg discussed the impact BJJ has had on him. Zuckerberg believes that BJJ prepares him for everyday obstacles and makes him more resilient in dealing with work-related issues due to his intense training.

“It is a great sport. The question isn’t how did I get into it, it’s how did I not know about it until right now? From, like, the very first session that I did, like, five minutes in where has this been my whole life?”
